Tony Hillerman, author of detective novels and non-fiction works, has died of pulmonary failure at age 83. Tony Hillerman is well known for the acclaimed Navajo Tribal Police mystery novels, in 1974 he won a Edgar Award for Best Novel. He also won Agatha Award for Best Non-Fiction. A series of novels written by Tony Hillerman became the main subject for some movies like : The Dark Wind (1991), Skinwalkers (2002), Mystery!: Thief of Time, A (2004).
He was married with Marie Unzner with who has six kids.
