Remember Buddy Holly

Ranked by the Rolling Stones Magazine as the number 13 on their list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time, Buddy Holly is still in the people’s souls. 50 years ago, on on February 3 1959, a four-seat airplane carrying Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper crashed into a cornfield eight miles north of Clear Lake, Iowa. This day was entitled “The Day the Music Died”. He was 22-year-old. Celebrations honoring the anniversary began on Wednesday January 28, in Clear Lake, Iowam, thousands of people attending at the festivities.
